Administer to the Sick

Definition: An ordinance of blessing a person who is sick which is performed (as a prayer) by worthy holders of the Melchizedek Priesthood. The person is first anointed with oil and then receives the blessing by the laying on of hands.
Also Known As: anoint, blessing of the sick, healing of the sick, a priesthood blessing
Examples:
Matthew and Scott administered to the sick when they gave Anne a blessing.
