Guide Review - The Nativity Story: Christmas Movie Review
I'm a critical (a.k.a. picky) movie watcher and wasn't sure if I would like The Nativity Story's Christmas version of the birth of Christ. I have to say that not only was I pleasantly surprised but I absolutely loved it! I cried during the last half of the movie and was emotionally touched throughout the whole thing. At first I wasn't sure if I would like the way Mary and Joseph would be portrayed but the writing was great and the actors did an excellent job! Not only did I love this Christmas movie but so did the six other adults who were there with me. There was some creative liberty taken of course, and a few small details that weren't scripturally accurate but they were minor and I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone by explaining anymore. My family will be buying the DVD and the sound track of The Nativity Story and it will become a new Christmas tradition to watch it every year. If you haven't seen it yet don't miss out, it's absolutely wonderful!
