The next week they were back and I was eager to speak with them as much as they were eager to talk to me. They bought someone with them and as they spoke I felt very warm and was able to understand all that they were explaining. It made sense and I wanted to hear it all that afternoon. But they were limited on time, they had been with me for almost two hours. Each week they came back and I soaked up the information they had for me like a sponge. Within 3 weeks I had heard all their discussions and a voice inside me was telling me that this was the Church that I was destined for. It was after their explanation about Joseph Smith that I realized he was a true person. He wasn't made up or was a myth. I realized that like Joseph Smith, I didn't know which Church to belong to. Heavenly Father purposely sent these young missionaries to my house, answering my question as to what Church to belong to.

To this day I feel a special bond with Joseph Smith. I know that he is a true person, a person who lived at one time. I used to wonder how a person can stand up and state that they know the Church is true. People from all faiths stand up and state that they know their Church is true however when I thought about it and the experience I had, I knew that this was my Testimony. I knew that this was not a coincidence. And today I too can bare my Testimony and I can stand up and state that I know the Church is true and for investigators or new people, this story that I often tell is a very big help for those struggling to wonder how the Church can be true and was Joseph Smith really a true person or just a made up person in our books.
