Have the sisters donate
services and items to be auctioned off. The Home, Family, and Personal
Enrichment Leader should know all the services a week or two in advance
so she can prepare a printout of all services auctioned. This way the
sisters can browse through the list before the auction begins.

Notes:
- It would be a good
idea to have a "Point Keeper" who tallies the earned and used
points.
- You can also have
a silent auction for the tangible items. For example: tables with the
food, blankets, jam, etc. would be setup and each item would have an
auction sheet. The sisters can then write their name and how much they
bid on the item, and the highest bidder at the end of the silent auction
wins the item. The points used must then be subtracted from their total.
- You can turn this
idea into a ward fund raiser for the YW/YM when they need to earn money
for camp, scouts, etc. Rachel's ward does it every year, and it's a
blast!
- The Youth can also
make dinner to be purchased with a prepaid ticket.
- A pot luck dinner
is another fun idea to "spice up" the auction.
