Poll: Have You Memorized the 13 Articles of Faith?

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we have a list of 13 Articles of Faith which clearly summarize our basic beliefs. Children in our primary organization often learn and memorize the 13 articles before they turn 12 years old and move on to Young Mens or Young Womens.

I memorized them when it used to be a requirement for primary, back in the olden days, about 50 (ACK!!! HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG??) years ago. I still can say them.

They still are a requirement or at least highly encouraged. I didn’t memorize them all when I was in Primary. My children have sung the songs and know a few, but not all. I think I’ve learned them more from helping them try to memorize and understand them than I ever did when I was younger. My older 2 definitely don’t know them all and my younger 2 probably won’t either, but if they can understand them and the meaning in the words, then I’ll be happy.
