Free LDS Book on Dating

By , About.com GuideJuly 21, 2009

Follow me on:

John Hilton III wrote a fun book for LDS youth and their leaders called, "I Lost My Phone Number, Can I Have Yours? Pickup Lines That Don't Work, Scriptural Advice that Does!" John has made his book available for free as either a PDF download or as an audio file downloadable via iTunes.

Topics from his book include:
  • Getting out of bad situations
  • Honoring women
  • Addressing the question "How far can you go and still not sin?"
  • Steady dating
  • Dating before 16
There's a fun "guy-girl" relationship quiz near the end of the book as well as some additional "bad" pick-up lines as well.

Don't miss the other great resources in the dating category.

(2) John Hilton III :

@Sarah — if you search “John Hilton III” or “Free LDS Books” in iTunes it should come up. Each chapter is a separate track. I hope that helps!

(5) John Hilton III :

Hello again. For reasons I don’t understand iTunes recently removed the book from its listings. I’m working to get it back up; in the mean time the files can be downloaded directly from

http://www.freeldsbooks.com/ilostmyphonenumberaudio

I’ll let you know when it’s back up on iTunes.
