Worship with Us in Our Sacrament Meeting
Thursday January 15, 2009
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meet together every Sunday to participate in sacrament meeting (by partaking of the sacrament) and other church services. Visitors are always welcome to worship with us, but what should you expect when you attend an LDS church service? Learn about hymns, prayers, the ordinance of the sacrament (known in some churches as communion), talks, testimonies, and more.As an investigator have you attended one of our church services before? What was it like? What other tips and information would be helpful for people to know before worshiping with us? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments.

One thing to note is that you can sit in any of the pews or chairs facing the podium/stand except for the first two rows in front of the sacrament table (with the white table cloth). This is where the Aaronic priesthood brethren sit before the sacrament is blessed and passed. Once the ordinance of the sacrament is over anyone can sit in those two rows.

Rachel, Do you know where I can get the Doctrine and Covenants coloring chart for reading the D&C? It looks like the BOM one.
If you could help, that would be great!
Thanks,
Rebekah
