#1 Quoted Scripture in the LDS Church
Sunday November 11, 2007
Throughout The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the number one quoted scripture is Moses 1:39. In this scripture God is speaking with Moses, to whom He had just shown the great and many creations of His hands. Moses asked the Lord to tell him about the earth, its inhabitants, and the heavens. The Lord spoke of the heavens and the earth, and then in regard to the people living on earth He said, "For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." I believe this is the most quoted scripture in the LDS Church because it is the very basis of all that we believe. God does have a plan, the Plan of Salvation. He is our Eternal Father, He loves us, and His work and His glory is for us to live with Him for all eternity.

I wish that all of Gods children knew of this scripture and had a spiritual experience to know of a surety it is true and it will come to pass, what a difference this would make to our lives.
It is a wonderful verse. So many seek God and to know His mind. This places that knowledge succinctly before us. If we extend it further to our service to Him through our fellow beings, we see that we become an integral part of His plan.
Happy Dae.
