Vision of the Tree of Life Game

After teaching a lesson about the Vision of the Tree of Life (using the clipart) use the questions below to teach about choosing the right.

Game Instructions:
  1. Place two clipart images of children holding onto the iron rod in between the polls that hold up the rod. For example place a boy in the first space (between polls one and two) then place a girl in the second space (between the third and four polls).
  2. Split the class into two teams, one to move the boy and one to move the girl.
  3. Have the teams take turns drawing a choice (below) to read.
  4. If it is a good choice they get to move the child holding to the iron rod two spaces forward, towards the tree of life.
  5. If the choice is a wrong choice then they move the child holding to the iron rod back two spaces.
  6. When each child reaches the tree of life give them one of the extra fruits from the tree.
Choices: Print and cut out each choice to be individually selected and read. You can also print these Vision of the Tree of Life Game Instructions from this pdf file.
