Future Missionary Fund Labels

Ready to print, cut out, and paste onto a can!

This fun Future Missionary label makes a great handout or visual aid to help children save money for a mission. There are two different colors in two sizes, one size fits 10-12 oz cans and the other fits 14-16 oz cans.

Items: You will need to clean out an empty can for each missionary fund. To make a lid see the instructions below the pdf files.

Directions: Print and cut out as many copies of the Future Missionary Fund label as needed. Make sure you don’t cut off the tab, as it will be easier to glue onto the can. I prefer using a glue stick and put paste on the entire back of the label and tab, but you can use any type of glue and just put paste on the back around the edges and on the tab.

To Make a Lid for the Can:

1. Using a special safety can opener "pop" off the top of the can. It actually cuts open the can but leaves a lip on the edge that's not sharp.
2. Hammer a slit into the top. A flat head screw driver and a hammer work well but make sure to put something under the lid first to protect the surface you're working on!
3. Turn the lid over and hammer the edges of the slit down, making them dull and safe to touch.
4. If you don't want the lid to come off you can glue it back on with crazy glue, but only after you've cleaned out the can and made a slit in the top of course. This way the can has to be opened with a can opener to get the money out.
