Visiting Teaching Skit: A Sister Act

This fun skit shows the importance of Visiting Teaching and is perfect for a Relief Society celebration or Visiting Teaching conference.

Preparation:
  • Open and print the VT skit in the pdf file below. There are eight cast members so you will probably want to print a copy for each person.
  • Assign people to each part.

Cast:
  • Sr. Overwhelmed (coat 1/2 on)
  • Sr. Visit-A Knee (sitting in chair w/ shawl over shoulders)
  • Sr. Two BeeZee (casual wear)
  • Sr. Visit-B Nursie (sitting in chair, reading)
  • Sr. Molly Mormon (dressed nicely for visiting)
  • Sr. Bea Reddy (dressed as above)
  • Sr. Visit-C Smiley (comfortably casual)
  • Sr. Eva Strong (dressed as R.S. President)
Excerpt:
    Sister Overwhelmed: Sits down at table and picks up phone and dials. (All in one breath w/ no breaks for responses from other sister) "Hello, Sr. Visit-A Knee? This is Sr. Overwhelmed, and I’m just calling to see how you are. I really don’t have time to chat as I’m on my way out the door to go to lunch and the movies with a friend. You’re okay then? Wonderful! I’ll be in touch. Goodbye." Sr. Overwhelmed walks out the chapel door...
