The Bottom Line
To play: one person is the subject and everyone else gets three cards. At the top of each card there are two words, one of which is randomly circled, but when you flip the card over the other word is circled. This way you can pick which word describes the subject more. Put the cards you're most sure of at the beginning, if the subject thinks they're most like the word you picked you get a point! If not you don't get a point and you don't get to read your other cards so "pick" carefully!

Guide Review - Take Your Pick: Family Game
This family game fits perfectly with SimplyFun's title because it really is simple to learn yet it's TONS of fun to play! I LOVE this game and everyone I've played it with also loved it. It's so much fun that we keep playing until we've used up all the cards (it really doesn't take long, especially because you're having so much fun) and usually we start all over again by mixing up the cards. The biggest complaint though was that there weren't enough cards, we would have liked to have at least twice as many cards because this game is just so fun to play! Here's an example of how to play, let's pretend that I'm the subject and you have the following three cards: Card 1: "Family" or "Friends" Card 2: "By the Book" or "Live 'n Learn" Card 3: "Ice Cream" or "Cake." Now pick which of the two words/phrases (on each card) you think I'll pick. Next put the cards in the order of most obvious (or most likely to be right) at the front. You're pretty sure I'll pick "Family" over "Friends" so you keep card 1 first. The subject (me in this case) is supposed to pick the word that answers this question, "Which of these two words/phrases describes me the most?" but what often happens is that the subject picks the word that they "like" which may not actually be the one that most describes them. So did you "pick" which words you think "describe" me the most? Let's see if you're right: Card 1: Family (duh) Card 2: By the Book, and Card 3: Ice Cream. Think it's easy to pick? Play it to find out!
