Guide Review - The Promise of the Atonement: LDS Book Review
I started this book with curiosity and then as I started reading it I hesitated on the validity of the book. Part way through it I had to read about the author, because usually books like this would be written by a General Authority. I kept wondering who the author was that would attempt to write a book on this topic. As I continued reading I realized that she had a great understanding of the Law of Moses and how the Atonement fulfilled the law. So many times we hear that the Law of Moses was done away with, but in reality the Atonement did not do away with the Law of Moses but fulfilled every part of it. The author did a beautiful job of teaching this doctrine in a way that opened my eyes. This book is a must read for anyone who has been hurt in this life and is seeking for the peace that only the atonement can bring.
