Guide Review - Apple Pies and Promises: Motherhood in the Real World
I enjoyed reading the stories. The author states in the introduction "If you want to share in the real-life, real-world experiences and thoughts of LDS mothers and daughters, read on." This book does this. I only gave it 4 stars because even though I enjoyed reading the stories there were only a handful of the 44 stories that I could relate to or would reference to again. My favorite was Long-Term Parenting. This made me really ponder what it means to be a parent. I also enjoyed and shared with my family the story entitled Prayer on Wheels.
