Manga Manga: Family Game Review

Manga Manga: Family Game Review

The Bottom Line

This family game is played similar to the "speed" version of Uno, if you've ever played that. There are six colored warriors: red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white. Each card also has a shield that's in one of the six colors. You start with 6 cards in your hand, flip over the first card, and then anyone can play in any order a warrior of the same color as that of the shield. The rainbow dragons are wild cards and the victory and consolation disks add some fun variety to this family game.

  • Quick paced game with some strategy and a lot of luck.
  • Great quality product.

  • Half of the characters are immodestly dressed.

Guide Review - Manga Manga: Family Game Review

Manga Manga is pretty fun to play, I especially like the way the consolation disks can affect the game. The instruction booklet is pretty clever because it's made in the form of a comic book! Unfortunately half of the characters are immodestly dressed which is too bad as the rest of the artwork is great and appeals especially to the youth as Anime art is very popular. This family game plays better with three or more players but there are special rules for 2 players. This isn't my favorite game from SimplyFun but it is fun to play!

Awesome changes, Member ChristyWaller

I am impressed they have changed the immodest clothes to be proper. The game is easy to learn once you get a hang of the speed of the game and 1 can learn to read colors Pros: Fun and gets the family together Cons: better instructions could be but hey let's face it, kids make up their own rules anyway right?
