This book will answer many questions on what the Lord's stand is through his latter-day prophets.

Guide Review - The Youth of Zion: LDS Book Review
The Youth of Zion is well written and informative. Chad Daybell did a great job in researching the words of the prophets and placing it in a convenient book. It can be used to look up a certain topic or read from cover to cover. Chad shares some personal experiences to help personalize the book. An example is in the missionary service chapter when he shares an experience from his mission that shows how the Lord has a hand in all mission calls. This is not only an uplifting book but a guide to where to set our standards. As Earl C. Tingey stated in the April 2004 General Conference, "We belong to a church where adhering to standards is expected." This book is a great help to knowing the standards. I know that with my 7 children we will be looking at this book often to see what the Lord expects of us on different matters. It is nice to have it all in one convenient book. I recommend it to all parents, leaders and youth.
