Budget Worksheets

Several years ago I was at a Church meeting where we were given a copy of the Church booklet, "One for the Money: Guide to Family Finance," by Elder Marvin J. Ashton. I started to more fully implement the wise, financial counsel given in this guidebook which ended up being a huge blessing for me. I was able to get my spending under control, and over time, eliminated a lot of debt. (Also see "You Need a Budget: Software Review")

This guidebook has a simple budgeting worksheet to follow, as does the latest family finances booklet from the Church called, "All Is Safely Gathered In". I quickly found that using this worksheet was very helpful, but was easier to use on my computer. The Church has a Family Budget Worksheet that can be downloaded from ProvidentLiving.org but it only has one worksheet per page. I've created a few downloadable Budget Worksheets with two or three per page, as well as an Excel spreadsheet for those who'd like to use the form directly on their computer.
