Family Home Evening Game: Run Through the Hoop

By Rachel Bruner, About.com

Object of the Game: To run through the hoop.

Preparation: Take the 2 ends of a long tube (such as a wrapping paper roll) and tape/tighten them together. If you already have a big hoop, such as a hula-hoop, you don't have to do anything!

Directions: Take the hoop, roll it on a soft surface (such as grass or carpet), and try to get through it. You can also have someone hold it up and have a contest to see who can jump through it the highest or without touching the hoop. It's fun and keeps kids entertained!

Notes: This also makes a great birthday activity!
