Family Home Evening Game: Button, Button

By Rachel Bruner, About.com

Object of the Game: To find the hidden button.

Preparation: All you need is a button!

Directions: One or more persons go(es) out of the room. The other players remain in the room and hide a button somewhere in the room. The button must be hidden in plain view. That is, it cannot be hidden behind something or on top of something. The persons return to the room (on the call of Button Button) and try to find the button. For younger persons, try giving them hints by saying "You're hot!" when they are getting nearer the button or saying "You're cold!" when they move away from the button.

Example: A group of 6 people are in a room. Two people leave the room. The others hide the button by placing it on a picture frame. The two people come back in when they hear "Button Button" and try to find the button.
