Speaking in regards to memorizing the Articles of Faith, Elder L. Tom Perry said the following:

"I reached the conclusion that if I studied the content of each of the Articles of Faith, I could explain and defend every gospel principle I might have the opportunity to expound to someone searching for the restored truth.

I encourage each of you to study the Articles of Faith and the doctrines they teach. If you will use them as a guide to direct your studies of the Savior's doctrine, you will find yourselves prepared to declare your witness of the restored, true church of the Lord. You will be able to declare with conviction: 'We believe these things.'" --April 1998 General Conference

Our family has taken up Elder Perry's challenge to learn and memorize the Articles of Faith. Each morning, after our scripture study, we work on memorizing a new article and have decided to devote our family home evening lessons to learning more about what each article of faith means.

During my search for tips and suggestions that would help motivate my family, I came across some of the following ideas. Feel free to use these in your own family or to help motivate your Primary children.
