Definition: An ordinance where the bread and water are blessed and passed to the congregation. The bread and water represent the sacrifice of Christ's body and blood.

Pronunciation: [Sack-rah-ment] (noun)

Also Known As: Blessing of the bread and water

Example: The sacrament was blessed by the brethren of the Melchizedek priesthood and passed by the brethren of the Aaronic priesthood.
