Philip. 4: 8, "Finally,
brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things
are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things."
2 Cor. 13: 7,
"Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear
approved, but that ye should do that which is honest..."
Prov. 11: 3, "The
integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors
shall destroy them."
Matt. 5: 44, "But
I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good
to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you,
and persecute you."
Alma 41: 14-15,
"Therefore, my son, see that you are merciful unto your brethren;
deal justly, judge righteously, and do good continually; and if ye do
all these things then shall ye receive your reward; yea, ye shall have
emercy restored unto you again; ye shall have justice restored unto
you again; ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again;
and ye shall have good rewarded unto you again.
"For that which
ye do send out shall return unto you again, and be restored; therefore,
the word restoration more fully condemneth the sinner, and justifieth
him not at all."
Moro. 7: 47, "But
charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso
is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him."
Moro. 10: 21, "And
except ye have charity ye can in nowise be saved in the kingdom of God;
neither can ye be saved in the kingdom of God if ye have not faith;
neither can ye if ye have no hope."
D&C 121: 45, "Let
thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household
of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly..."
D&C 4: 5-6,
"And faith, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory
of God, qualify him for the work.
"Remember faith,
virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness,
charity, humility, diligence."
