Sharing Time - Testimony Hands
A great way to help children understand how to share their testimonies.

By Rachel Bruner, About.com

Preparation: Print out the following clipart images or make your own. On the back of the hand (the side that doesn't have the words) paste the following images: On the Thumb put the picture of Heavenly Father. On the index finger put a picture of Jesus. On the middle finger put a picture of Joseph Smith. On the ring finger put the picture of President Hinckley. On the last finger put a picture of the church. In the palm put a picture of a family, or the children can put a picture of their own family.

Directions: This visual aid can be used to help children learn how to share their testimonies, and are perfect to practice with during their Family Home Evening. Sherry says, "I'm a real visual person and if I can see pictures it helps me and reminds me what I need to remember. This way the kids could look on their hand while they are up there and try to remember the pictures that they pasted on the paper hand and hopefully remember how to give a proper testimony."

Optional Clipart: New Era Posters: Note: You could make it an activity to put the hands together, by giving the hands (with the words already on them) to the children and then have them paste the images to the other side with the corresponding fingers.
