LDS Primary Singing Time Idea - Trees and Leaves
Great for the Fall but fun year round.

By , About.com Guide

Preparation: Make a tree (with a trunk and branches) and make separate leaves. Write on the back of each leaf the name and/or page number of a different primary song. Put the trunk on a poster or attach it to the wall. Tape or attach the leaves with the songs face down.

Optional Clipart:
Tree: Tree
Leaves: Leaf1 (B/W) Leaf1 (Color), Leaf2, Leaf3, Leaf4, Leaf5, Leaf6
More Clipart: Trees (Scroll down)

Directions: Choose a child to pick one of the leaves. Tell the children that the best singer (or attempt at singing) gets to pick the next one.

Note: You may want to make your own tree trunk and branches from brown construction paper or card stock. Another way to use this idea would be to stick the leaves around the room and have your best singers find them. If everyone sings great choose someone to put the leaf on the tree.
