LDS Primary Singing Time Idea - Ice Cream Cone
A fun way to help kids sing the very best they can!

By , About.com Guide

Preparation: Make an ice cream cone and scoops. Write songs and/or page numbers on the back of the scoops. Some of the scoops can have instructions on them such as, "Pick someone wearing red to choose the next song" or "Or pick a teacher/leader to tell his/her favorite song." Attach the ice cream cone to a piece of cardboard/cardstock or the wall.

Optional Clipart: Ice cream scoops and cone or Ice cream cone

Directions: Tell everyone that the best singer gets to pick the next ice cream scoop to put on the cone.

Note: Bonnie also made a fun character called, "Disappointed Dan. He is a cartoon fellow who dropped his ice cream cone. I drew him big sized on poster board. I showed his picture and they all laughed and related to him. I told him we could help him by using our primary singing scoops."
