The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has an amazing Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) which I've written about in the past. Recently the Church's Newsroom posted a fabulous article and five minute video called "Addiction Recovery Program Brings Individuals to Christ" which is about the Church's 12 steps of recovery program. The video is touching and worth taking a few minutes to watch.
The power of the Addiction Recovery Program is in learning how to apply the Atonement of Jesus Christ and is available for addicts as well as for the family, friends, and church leaders of addicts. Through the power of Christ's Atonement, all are able to find hope, faith, trust in God, peace, joy, and freedom from addiction, sins, pain, and sorrow.
