Have you struggled to find a good job? Are you unhappy with your current employment? Do you feel lost or unclear about a career? Then these free employment resources are just what you need.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has wonderful organization called LDS Employment Services which can be found at LDSJobs.org.

This site is full of excellent resources for job seekers, employers, self-employed individuals, and church leaders who are called to help others with their employment needs. Some of these great resources include a database of job postings, a Professional Placement Program and this excellent list of 1-2 page Job Searching Tip Sheets:
  • Job Search Planning
  • Surviving Unemployment
  • Power Statements
  • "Me in 30 Seconds" Statements
  • Effective Networking
  • Interview Techniques
  • Writing a Résumé or CV
  • Written Communication (Cover Letters, Applications, Thank-You Letters)
  • Effective Negotiating
  • Job Fair
  • Earning Your Daily Bread
The Church has LDS Employment Centers throughout the world and many of these locations hold a free Career Workshop. These workshops (usually held over two days) help people set goals, find and use resources, learn how to network, and move forward with their jobs and a career.

If you haven't yet visited LDSJobs.org and are interested in improving your job or career, now's the time to take advantage of these wonderful employment resources- and their free!
