As part of our emergency preparedness and planning, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints encourages people to be prepared for an emergency by having a 72 Hour Kit for each person in their home. A 72 Hour kit should be ready and easily available in case of an emergency, and with a little planning, is easy and fun to organize and put together.

Interesting topic, I haven’t been much into the whole 72 hour kit thing, but last week while watching Glenn Beck there was an commercial for one the http://www.72hourkit.com, I called the number and ordered a bunch for my whole family. They were only $19 and looked pretty good, I figured something is better than nothing.
Thank you for sharing, Chris!
I put us as a no, but truthfully we are in the middle. We’re partially prepared but could also do more.
