What really is the true gift of Christmas? It is Jesus Christ. Without Easter, we wouldn't have Christmas. If Jesus Christ was not the Son of God who lived, atoned for our sins, died, and was resurrected for all mankind, there would be no reason for Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has an official Christmas page that has wonderful Christmas resources. If you haven't visited it this Christmas season, take a few minutes to browse through the site. You can read the Christmas Story and download Christmas songs. I especially like the Christmas videos which include Christmas songs sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
