In Search of Great LDS Websites

By , About.com GuideJune 23, 2010

Follow me on:

Over the years there have been many great LDS related websites (both official and unofficial) that have been developed. I've linked to many of these sites, but there, I am sure, many more out there that are of great worth and value. Thus, I am in search of other excellent websites that are somehow related to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints- our beliefs, culture, doctrine, values, lifestyle, etc.

What are some of your favorite LDS websites? What sites do you think are useful and have bookmarked? Please share those sites that have helped you in your callings, in discussing/learning about the gospel/Church, or with life in general (on a temporal or spiritual level).

I also love http://mormonshare.com. Over there I’m tkme63. I love to make stuff and be able to share it too!

I keep Mormon Budget running, with a Book of Mormon game and articles on how we can learn about money management and other topics from the scriptures.
I know many people have used material from here in talks.

The most useful site I’ve come across Rachel is your one.

This is one of my favorite sights out there. Help for Gospel Doctrine teachers. About 12 different teachers and there handouts, power points, or written lessons for each lesson.

Latter-dayvillage is a mostly paid web sight, but some stuff is FREE. Great for primary, YW, SEMINARY, RS, Clipart, and much more! different levels of memberships available by year.

No, I didn’t get your list. It’s possible my spam blocker got it, but unfortunately I deleted all my spam comments yesterday. About a minute afterwards I thought that there may have been some legit ones (like a list from you) that I might have accidentally deleted. I don’t usually look through the list as there are thousands of spam comments, but if you resubmit a list I’ll check for it.

Sorry about that! Thanks for your help.

Mormon Teacher is great if your calling is to teach Young Women’s or Young Men’s classes. That website has PowerPoint and Keynote presentations for each of the LDS youth lessons.

(And I think the t-shirts on Mormon Apparel are really funny.)
