I served my mission in Fresno, CA. Best mission in the world! I was fortunate enough to learn another language, one that I had not heard of before serving my mission. That language is called Hmong and I taught the Hmong people in Fresno and the surrounding areas about Jesus Christ and his gospel. Hmong is one of the more difficult languages to learn because it is very tonal. 8 different tones are used and each tone can change the meaning of a word. Here is what Hmong looks like in written form: Nyob zoo txhua leej txhua tus. Kuv lub npe yog KoobMeej Muas. Kuv tau ua tub txhib nrog cov neej Hmoob ntawm lub zos Fresno thaum xyoo 1998 mus txog 2000. Peb cov tub txhib qhia txog Vajtswv thiab nws tib leeg tus Yexus Khetos. Peb qhia txog Yexus kev tuag, Phau Ntawv Maumoos, thiab cov tsev neeg yuav nyob tas mus li. Kuv tau hlub ua tus tub txhib thiab kuv hlub cov neej Hmoob heev!

I converted at age 24 and married at 25, so haven’t yet had the chance to serve a mission. My husband and I hope to be Temple workers when we’re retired.
My husband Nolan and I served in New Jersey, Cherry Hill Mission for a year (2003-2004)in Camden, New Jersey which at that time was the wickedest city in the USA. The experiences we had there were amazing and we loved that mission. We also served previously at the Conference Center where we met after the death of our spouses. We are 69 and 80 years old now just enjoying life. I also served a mission at the Lao/Thai ward in SLC for 50 months and worked in the Jordan River Temple for 3 years.
I served a mission in The Oakland California Mission.
The experiences I had while serving a very personal, but please know just as I had many special personal experiences any person Jew Catholic Hindu or Latter day Saint can have those same experiences because we all have the same Father in Heaven Who loves us each the same.
The important thing to remember is our own persnal worthiness. God will and can not work through us if we are not clean and pure.
I served a mission in Venezuela.I was fortunate in off to be able to preach the gospel to my people in was used to be a free country:Venezuela. Now, my thoughts are back to my first Mission Pres. from whom I haven’t heard anything their names had been always in my memory because both his wife and him were such an inspiration for me,Robert and Sheryl Lee. from Arizona. would you out there have any idea?

Gisela: Gracias por su question. Lo siento, me falta la plactica.
Here is an article to help you locate a member of the Church:

Also, since you’re looking for a missionary, you can try finding the mission you lived in where you were baptized, to see if he’s listed there:

I hope that helps.
