Poll: Could You Survive Without Power for 14 Days?

In the comments from the 72 Hour Kit Warning, Judy shares some excellent food storage and 72 hour kit tips that helped them while they were without power for 14 days because of Hurricane IKE. She also shares what food items were in the boxes that were handed out during this natural disaster.

Its not as hard as it sounds, people have been doing it for thousands of years. Not to be sarcastic.

I’ve in a home without power in a home for a a few months straight, it just takes a little willpower, mostly to go without modern comforts such as tv and all tv related activities, as well as hot showers. This occurred during winter and early spring in Utah. The apartment was warm enough, but the showers were unpleasant.
