Atonement of Jesus Christ

Saturday September 27, 2008
In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we believe that Jesus Christ and His atonement are the "rock" upon which we must build our foundation:
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall" (Helaman 5:12).
But what exactly is the atonement? This article explains the six attributes of Christ's atonement.

In making and editing the Relief Society Newsletter and Tri-fold Ward Bulletin I used MS Publisher. If you have this program I could send you a blank template to help you get started. If you don’t have that program it’s really worth getting as it’s so much easier and faster to use then MS Word. If you need it for a church calling your leaders might be willing/able to purchase it for the calling.
