LDS Blog Portal: Nothing Wavering

From Rachel Bruner, About.com GuideAugust 4, 2008

Follow me on:

Nothing Wavering, a portal for blogs about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was created as an alternative to other LDS blog portals and "strive[s] to be a website to which mainstream members of the church can direct their friends, family, fellow congregation members, and interested non-LDS associates with confidence that the content will be consistent with the counsel of the living Prophets and Apostles and where Murmuring about the Church and those authorized to direct her will be discouraged."

I'm very excited about this new resource and its mission to provide links to appropriate LDS blogs. This new portal already has an excellent list, including several official LDS blogs, and is one that I've personally bookmarked.

(1) Michael Drysdale says:

About three weeks after high school graduation (1992), I experienced a car accident that left me paralyzed from the neck-down. The doctors gave me absolutely no hope of any recovery. I refused to accept their grim predictions! I have reached a state, after 16 years, of normal feeling throughout my body. I now have full use of my right arm and leg and partial, but improving use of my left side. I am able to transfer myself from my electric wheelchair into the drivers seat of my van, where I drive with absolutely no modifications, other than a knob on the steering wheel that allows me to steer with only one hand. I operate the gas and brake with my right foot, as anyone else would. On my site http://www.michaeldrysdale.com I’ve attached recent videos of me walking with help of recent therapists. My site also has the entire story of my recovery and mp3s of songs that I have co-written.
