Nephi, a Book of Mormon prophet, taught about the importance of feasting upon the words of Christ including what blessings we receive when we do and what happens when we don't:
"Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.To ask God for help in understanding the scriptures we can pray and when we do so in faith the Holy Ghost will "show unto [us] all things what [we] should do."
"Wherefore, now after I have spoken these words, if ye cannot understand them it will be because ye ask not, neither do ye knock; wherefore, ye are not brought into the light, but must perish in the dark.
"For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do" (2 Nephi 32: 3-5).

Thank you for your comment. I’m glad you’ve been able to use the resources. I’ve found that taking the extra effort to mark my scriptures has made scripture study enjoyable as it really helps me engage in what I’m reading and learning. I’m sure being a convert must be overwhelming, I’m sometimes overwhelmed with everything there is to know/do in the gospel/church!
