LDS Church Leaders and Air Force One

Friday May 30, 2008
On Thursday morning President Bush met with the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their meeting was about an hour long. Here's a picture of President Thomas S. Monson and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the First Presidency, and Sister Julie B. Beck, General Relief Society president, standing in front of Air Force One on May 28, 2008. You can read more about this and past visits between LDS Church leaders and the President of the United States in the LDS Newsroom article, "President Bush Meets With First Presidency."

(1) Cindy McClelland says:

What a wonderful opportunity to meet with the US President. We enjoy knowing our government leaders throughout the United States. This is a great example to all of us. Do we know who the decision-makers our at local, city, state governments? What can we do to make in-roads?
