Random New LDS Sites

Wednesday May 7, 2008
Here are a bunch of new LDS related websites and resources that I think are worth checking out.
  • ReturnandReport.org
A free tool that helps home and visiting teaching leaders by sending out email reminders to their teachers. Optionally this tool can also be used to report home and visiting teaching results.

  • SugarDoodle.net
A primary site with a list of sharing time ideas for each month and a page dedicated to primary, nursery, and activity day ideas.

  • LDSJournal.com
A free journaling website targeted towards the LDS community. You can upload and attach photos and videos to your journal entries, and if you keep a family blog you could easily copy and paste entries into your online journal.

  • MormonWoman.org
A site for and about Relief Society women, where they can share their thoughts, feelings, testimony and experiences, with others.

  • LDSMovieRentals.com
Similar to Netflix or Blockbuster this DVD rental company focuses on the LDS market.
Most of these sites are new, but if anyone has used them (or after trying them) I'd love to hear your thoughts about them so please share your experiences with us in the comments.

I dont think it is appropiate for this site to have article re 144,000 and advertising free book.
It is not in harmony with the teachings of the church. This is found in your sponsored Links for Australia.

Thank you for your comments.

Malcolm,

Thanks for your complaint. Unfortunately I have no control over the ads placed on the site. I am only the guide, the site is owned by About.com. I am able to send in complaints about inappropriate ads to try and have them removed. If you see any ads that should be removed I would need to know the page (url) where you saw it and any other info about it (title, URL it leads to, etc.) as I need that information to be able to submit a complaint.

Thank you for your concern it truly is appreciated.

I have used LDSJOURNAL.COM. Its biography-oriented questions are thought provoking. Nice site.

Thank you for explaining that the advertisements are not controlled by you. I too was wondering why the ad for THE 144,000 THE END was on your website. You might want to put the statement “Not responsible for ads placed on this webpage” somewhere on each page so non-members do not get the wrong impression. I love your site and visit it as often as I can.
