Myths & Reality of the LDS Church

Thursday February 28, 2008
There are many myths regarding the beliefs and practices of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In answer to some of these myths the LDS Church has created a new 10 minute video titled "Myths & Reality" which is from the LDS Newsroom article, "Video Challenges Public Misperceptions, Explains Myths vs. Reality."

The three myths addressed in this video are:
  1. Mormons practice polygamy
  2. Mormons care only for their own
  3. Mormons are not Christians
This is a wonderful video that helps clarifies who Mormons are and what we believe. Also, during the section on families President Gordon B. Hinckley quotes from The Family: A Proclamation to the World.
