Top Five Things I'm Thankful For

Thursday November 8, 2007
Gratitude is an important part of Thanksgiving (whether you celebrate this holiday now or later) so I thought I'd share some of the things I'm most grateful for. In no particular order they are:
  1. The Godhead: Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.
  2. Family: I'm grateful to know we can be an eternal family, meaning we can be together again after this life.
  3. Scriptures: I love reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon and am thankful for the inspired words and teachings of our Savior.
  4. The Plan of Salvation: Knowing where we came from, why we're here, and where we're going brings me great peace and understanding of life.
  5. Trials: Although they are hard, and sometimes the worst things we've gone through, I know they are important and a necessary part of life.
There are many, many more things I truly am thankful for and when I "count my blessings" I'm amazed at how great life really is! Please share what you're thankful for in the comments.
