Do You Believe We Lived Before Birth?

You have not used one verse from the Bible to support this. All you have used is from the Book of Mormon. Why is that?

You did live before human life is covered in the Bible book of Job 38:7 and other bible scriptures. Your soul is your individual spirit part of God spirit which has always existed, is eternal, and immortal. Most religions do have scriptures related to premortal life, whether you believe it or not is your free-will choice from which you will reap as you sow.

I do have certain personal beliefs that we lived before birth in Heaven. I am a born again Christian and although churches I’ve attended have not covered this topic in detail, I believe that we were once spirits with a free will. I still have yet to find back up on my beliefs by ways of scripture. In the verse you quoted Job 38:7 this does not indicate that we are the Angels, still this does not change my belief. I will continue to search for the other passages that can lead us to this understanding, but if you find something in the meantime can you please post.

All individual life began as spirit life with God long before human life on earth. For those who don’t have the time and means for complicated research, the LDS Plan of Salvation found online is a good start. I am not a Mormon but they are way ahead of other religions on negelected premortal life teachings.

Minerva, If you are a born again person then you are one of the Sons (child) of God mentioned in Job 38 and many other other scriptures. You have lived a lot longer than you know because of the veil of forgetfulness spoke of in the online LDS Plan of Salvation which is a good start place to learn more about premortal life, I am not a Mormon.

Pre Mortal existance

It is a proven fact friends.
I am living proof of it.
with drawings done from memory of what my heaven looked like in pre existance.

I’ve been there as a spirit before child birth to my mortal mother on earth.

How can you not believe what you have not seen when you know it is there.

In this area there was destroyed buildings every where in heaven.

In heaven I was a spirit yes, Why do I recall my spirit life That part has been answered by a mortal doctor of the mind in Oregon
Saying i was born with no viel.
I recall falling in heaven through white misty clouds and it was a beutifull area I was in.
I will be brief as possible here.
I landed on a walk way behind a long line of people and nearly run in to them getting stopped and I seen a man sitting on a thrown like chair talking to a boy between 9 to 14 in age who was in tears.
the man I call him god or a father like figure talking to a son shareing his love.
With that boy.
That disappears and I see the tunnel I am sitting in side of.
Some thing clear and invisable to the eye attaches to my feet pulling me forward to where at the outer end of this tunnel I see a clear beutifull bright blue sky
with clouds and some thing brown to my left

I recieve a message in this tunnel standing there.
Now go forth and teach the people of these things that you see and do here and are a part of so that they might believe.

I fall off the outer end of this tunnel and through a opening below me and in to the air.
WAR DAMAGE
I witness an area all over the grassy ground below me with destroyed building imploded in on them selves a city like area beneath me
It brought me to tears my self as I had sorrowed emotions over seeing the destruction all around me on the ground and no people
What hapened here was my question Bible mentions a War in heaven.

I fall in another place hurting my self but we will not go there.
There was more destruction on the ground below broken and strewn columns of a temple like building with a blacked out door way in it.
It was forbidden for me to enter it.
I found my self in the womb of a mortal woman looking at a unborn baby mortal
Which turned out to be me.
I could not escape the white lights showering me all over next thing I remember entering the unborn mortal baby
And being stuck in the canal listening to the nurse

After many years of research and the axcumulation of more than a million pages of support information and evidence I have found the indwelling Holy Spirit to be the best guide to all truth and rememberance. ** interesting note that the psalmist says he was formed ‘in the depths of the earth’..no mention of Heaven…**
Jeremiah 1:5
5″Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
And before you were born I consecrated you;
I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

I think the Scriptures are very clear that GOD knew us before we were born, however it is (I believe) silent on whether we knew Him or not.

I would like to say that we humans are NOT immortal beings, as the Bible says we are born in sin and spiritually dead.
1 Corinthians 15:45-47
So also it is written, “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL ” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. 47The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.

Immortality is only given to those who have received the Holy Spirit through believing and following Jesus. However we do not have our immortality now…that is why we will suffer death (unless we are still alive when the Lord returns and are transformed)
Ephesians 1:13-14
“In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation–having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
14who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.”

That is why at the Judgement, for those whose name is not written in the Book of Life, they experience what is called “the second death”
Revelation 20:14-15
14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire This is the second death, the lake of fire.
15And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

I just don’t think one can definitively say we pre-existed with God in Heaven, using Scripture as evidence. If that is something someone believes, that’s up to them. If someone has Biblical Scriptural evidence, I would be interested in reading it.
