Putting on the Armor of God

My ward's book group decided to read this book by Steven A. Cramer and I've really enjoyed reading it again. "Putting on the Armor of God: How to Win Your Battles with Satan" exposes the adversary's masterful disguises that blind and fool us into believing his lies. It also explains how LDS Church teachings can protect and defend us in this real war that each of us is involved in as Satan tries to destroy us. Here's a quote from the preface that I liked:"Some things revealed about Satan and his powers may be alarming, but they are not presented to frighten. Satan can have no advantage over us once we recognize and understand his techniques and strategies.... At this very moment the Lord is aware of our past and present struggles and has already planned the path to victory. It is the author's hope that this book will identify that path, 'for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God' (Moroni 9:6)."This is a wonderfully informative book full of great insights, scriptures, and quotes from LDS Church leaders. Whether you're investigating the beliefs of Latter-day Saints or are already a member I highly recommend "Putting on the Armor of God."

I would just like to say that steven cramer is one of my favorite authors. You should really read this book to help you over come problems, or anything. You will feel the spirit and this book along with the other standard works, will help you see things in a whole new light.
