New Relief Society General Presidency

Saturday April 7, 2007
Bonnie D. Parkin, Kathleen H. Hughes, and Anne C. Pingree were released from the General Relief Society Presidency during the Saturday morning session of the 177th Annual General Conference. The new President of the General Relief Society Presidency is Julie B. Beck, who had been the first counselor in the Young Women General Presidency, and her two counselors are Silvia H. Allred and Barbara Thompson. Elaine S. Dalton took Sister Beck's place as the new first counselor in the Young Women General Presidency and Mary N. Cook was called as the second counselor.
