LDS.org Beta Site

Saturday January 13, 2007
If you haven't yet seen the new beta site of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints you should take a look. My personal favorites are:
  • A-Z Index: This is very useful for finding what you're looking for on the site! The Gospel Topics (mentioned below) are also listed here.
  • Gospel Topics: Such as this one about abuse, click the index tab under "Gospel Topics" to browse through other areas.
  • Additional Media Formats: I really love listening to the scriptures on my computer in MP3 format.
  • Navigation Menu: You can make a left hand navigation window slide open by clicking on the tab "Show Navigation" on the far left of the window. The words are sideways and faint but readable. When you're done just click "Hide Navigation" to close the tab.
Note: Some of the areas of LDS.org haven't yet been converted over to the beta site.

Just found this site, it’s wonderful. Keep up the good work.
Found the Old testament time line. I’m teaching New Testament this year and would love to see a New Testament time line.
