Our Trials = Our Adventures

While doing my visiting teaching one of the sisters made a wonderful point after reading the following quote, "Mortality is a time of testing and trial, which means that there must be times when we feel pain and emotional discomfort." Prepare to Resist Temptation Ensign, July 2003.

This sister explained how we enjoy reading and hearing about other people's great adventures but sometimes we don't realize that those adventures are actually trials. If we look at our lives we can see that our trials can be our own adventures. And it's true! If we look at our trials as adventures and not just as burdens we will be able to grow more, learn more, and be happier.
